The biggest splash at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show might have been made by Volkswagen on Thursday. The giant German automaker, along with Andretti Autosport, unveiled its 560-hp, all-wheel-drive Global Rallycross Beetle. GRC champion Tanner Foust will pilot the first car while ex-Formula One driver Scott Speed will helm the second.
As we told you on Saturday, Fiat intended unveiling the new convertible 500 - The Fiat 500C – today, and here we have the first official images of the car. As we expected, the 500C gets a full-length canvas roof, with the C pillars staying in place to keep the cost down and add strength. Hamilton’s team mate Rosberg beat him to pole position – his second pole in a row – with Red Bull’s Vettel having to settle for third place alongside Kimi Raikkonen’s Lotus.
